About the project
IN2 has been commissioned by an international student accommodation developer to provide building services engineering and sustainability services for a new PBSA project comprising 196 beds in Berlin.
Upon completion, the project will offer the city’s growing student population high-quality accommodation and amenities such as a gym and co-working facilities.
The building is aiming for DGNB Platinum and EH40 energy efficiency standards. IN2 will support this goal by assisting the team as energy and sustainability consultants and as DGNB auditors. These tasks include, among others:
Life cycle assessment (LCA)
Overheating assessment
Daylight assessment
Energy modelling
IN2 is involved in all project phases, from concept to handover, in accordance with HOAI service phases LPH1–LPH9. The project is currently scheduled for completion in 2028.
