An unbeatable culture
In October 2024 we earned the prestigious Great Place To Work® accreditation – achieved in our very first year of participating in the programme. This recognition demonstrates the inclusive and supportive culture we have cultivated across all of our offices. We’re also incredibly proud of the results from the Great Place To Work® survey, which revealed that IN2 exceeded industry benchmarks in key areas like career development, diversity, and inclusion. We retained our accreditation in October 2025, and were awarded one of Ireland's Best Workplaces in 2026.

IN2 Engineering is a leading design consultancy in building services, energy, and sustainability, and we are shaping the future of the built environment.
Our commitment to sustainability is a fundamental part of our company ethos and our values. Through an innovative lens we are always striving to find new ways to reduce our energy and contribute to current Net Zero targets. Our work consistently integrates low-carbon design, energy efficiency, and long-term operational sustainability across a wide range of building typologies.
This approach dominates our project methodologies and this approach guides our ESG Strategy. To further bolster our commitment to ESG we have established an ESG Committee within IN2 which meets monthly and a cross-section of our team represent the various departments and reports on their individual targets.
We apply the concept of ESG innovation not purely tactically in application to materials or methods but also we take an innovation approach to the development of the business as a whole. This includes:
- A commitment to Energy, Sustainability & Retrofit Projects
- Forward-thinking energy strategies
- Resulting in enormous carbon savings.
Since opening our Berlin office in 2022, we have completed 28 BREAMM projects across the country. In the UK and Ireland we have worked on 11 projects over the past year including the decarbonisation and infrastructure project at Beaumont Hospital, and Tiller Road, London, which involved analyses on energy, overheating, sustainability, whole life carbon, and Circular Economy.
At the heart of our ESG strategy, and evidence of our innovation, is a commitment to reducing our carbon footprint across all our offices. To date we have embarked on a number of long-term initiatives to do this with hands-on ‘doables’ from converting our fleet of vehicles to EV vehicles – since 2019 we have year-on-year added to our fleet of EV cars - as well as embarking on energy reviews within all our office buildings.
The current IN2 fleet including 8 EVs provides 50% saving of annual carbon emissions compared to all diesel.
