Daniel Fogarty is an Associate Director and Chartered Mechanical Services Engineer at IN2 Engineering with extensive experience in the design and delivery of complex building services systems across healthcare, public infrastructure and commercial developments.
Daniel specialises in healthcare engineering and the integration of new building services systems within existing operational environments. Much of his work involves upgrading ageing infrastructure while maintaining building operations, particularly within live healthcare facilities, government buildings and secure environments.
He has worked on projects across several major hospitals including St James’s Hospital, the Mater Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Tallaght University Hospital and Wexford General Hospital. These projects have ranged from specialist clinical fit-outs and critical care unit developments to major infrastructure upgrades and energy system improvements.
In recent years Daniel has also focused on the decarbonisation of existing buildings and the development of long-term energy strategies for healthcare and public sector clients. His work includes energy infrastructure upgrades and low-carbon heat solutions aligned with national climate targets.
Daniel holds degrees in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Services and Energy Management, and a Master of Science in Energy Management from Dublin Institute of Technology (now TU Dublin).
Outside of work he enjoys travelling with his family, following sport and playing the occasional round of golf.
