Daniel Gray is an Associate Director and Electrical Engineer at IN2 Engineering with extensive experience in the design and delivery of electrical building services across sectors including healthcare, venues/hospitality, education, residential and commercial developments.
Daniel’s career combines practical trade experience with engineering design expertise. He began his career as a qualified electrician, working on construction sites in Ireland and Australia before returning to education to study Building Services Engineering. This background provides him with a strong understanding of both the technical design and practical installation of building services systems, enabling him to develop solutions that are both technically robust and practical to deliver on site.
After completing his engineering studies at South East Technological University, Daniel gained early consultancy experience in London before returning to Ireland, where he worked on a range of public sector and education projects. He joined IN2 Engineering in 2017 and has since played a key role in the delivery of major developments across Ireland.
His project experience includes developments such as Printing House Square at Trinity College Dublin, the Beckett Locke Hotel in Dublin, the Intensive Care Unit extension at Tallaght University Hospital, and the Mortuary and Post-Mortem facility at University Hospital Waterford.
Daniel was appointed Associate Director in 2022 and now leads electrical engineering teams on major projects while contributing to business development, tender submissions and client engagement across the practice.
Outside of work Daniel enjoys running and cycling, following a range of sports, and has a keen interest in Irish history.
