About the Project

Named after Samuel Beckett, the Beckett Locke hotel is a new build 12,500m2 conveniently located beside Dublin’s 3Arena at North Wall Quay. The completed building comprises of 250 aparthotel rooms across 7 floors providing a variety of studio, one, and two-bedroom units with associated kitchen and bathroom facilities. Additionally, the hotel includes workout studios, co-working spaces, communal areas, bar, restaurant, and café for guests.

IN2 successfully delivered the design of the M&E systems including mechanical, electrical, and building mass and thermal modelling from conception to hand over and delivery. The hotel formed part of a development which also included the award-winning 91- 94 North Wall Quay offices along the waterfront, Dublin’s first Grade-A office building to achieve NZEB.

Working in collaboration with ECI Lighting, Premier Electrics & C+W O'Brien Architects we ensured the lighting was designed to be harmonious with the client's brand standards and vision for the interior design.
