About the project
IN2 was commissioned by Premier Inn to conduct cooling load calculations and undertake the mechanical design for two of their hotels operating under their subsidiary brand Acom.
These included the Acom Ku’damm and Acom Süd hotels which form part of Premier Inn’s extended brand portfolio.
IN2’s role encompassed the service phases LPH 1 – LPH 5, covering the early concept development through to detailed design. The scope primarily focused on the redesign and optimisation of the mechanical systems within the existing buildings, ensuring that the proposed solutions were compatible with the constraints of the existing structure and building services.
Following completion of the design stages, the project was then handed over to a general contractor for construction and implementation.
