Taking Dublin's first Grade-A office building to NZEB status
About the project
IN2 were appointed on the construction of the new North Dock office building. Completed in 2021, this project was Dublin’s first Grade-A office building to achieve NZEB (Near Zero Energy Building), setting new standards for future builds.
At nine storeys high, the new waterfront North Dock development offers 18,859m2 of premium office space capable of accommodating up to 3,500 office workers. Divided into two blocks, North Dock One (8,825m2) & North Dock Two (10,033m2), it offers an independent reception area and prominent street entrance for future tenants.
This fit-out project involves the CAT B fit-out at Level 5 in the One North Dock building which had been successfully designed and delivered to CAT A by IN2 in 2020 (M&E, Sustainability, and LEED Gold Services). IN2 engineers provided full mechanical and electrical design services for the tenant in addition to BREEAM Assessor services.
