Comprehensive M&E services for Ireland's first mixed mode office development with integrated data centre
About the project
IN2 Engineering provided full M&E consultancy for Ireland’s first naturally ventilated/mixed mode office development in the speculative market sector.
IN2 were subsequently retained by both key Tenants; BNY Mellon Bank and Beauchamps Solicitors in order to design and oversee complete fit-out installations.
The BNY Mellon Bank fit-out consisted of accommodation for 300 staff, incorporating a Data Centre to link with their existing offices in both Dublin and Wexford to US Headquarters.
The Data Centre housed 30 No. data cabinets with full generator and UPS back-up in the event of mains power failure. The Data Centre was protected by an INERGEN gas suppression system, including both floor and ceiling voids. The project involved the relocation of all existing comms equipment from their existing offices in Dublin, whilst minimising downtime.
