IN2 was appointed to provide full mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) design services for a new data hall within a Tier 1 Global Data Centre Developer's data centre in London.

The project required the careful integration of new mission-critical infrastructure within an operational, high-security wholesale colocation facility. Working closely with the General Contractor, IN2 coordinated the engineering design to maintain operational continuity while meeting the rigorous performance and resilience standards required for hyperscale digital operations.

Comprehensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling was undertaken to assess airflow distribution, cooling performance and environmental conditions throughout the new data hall. The findings informed an efficient and resilient cooling strategy capable of supporting the facility’s total IT load of 30MW.

The BREEAM-certified development demonstrates IN2’s expertise in delivering efficient, scalable and resilient data centre environments through coordinated MEP design and advanced engineering analysis. The project is scheduled for handover in Q2 2027.
