Leveraging an existing logistics centre to welcome a new age of data centres in Cork
About the project
This project centres on transforming an existing logistics facility into a high‑performing, future‑ready data centre. Previously operating as a warehouse and distribution hub for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, the building offers a robust foundation for redevelopment.
Its strategic location, strong transport links, and readily-available power infrastructure make it an ideal candidate for data centre use, significantly accelerating delivery timelines and reducing upfront risk.
Leveraging the generous internal height of the warehouse, the design introduces a new two‑storey data hall configuration. Each level accommodates a dedicated 4MW data hall, providing a scalable, efficient, and resilient solution to meet growing digital capacity demands.
